Safe use of compressed air for food and drink processors

A new guide has been released by the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) on the safe and efficient use of compressed air.

In their own words:

The British Compressed Air Society prepared this best practice guideline with advice given by the British Retail Consortium Trading Ltd, which will give useful guidance and allow informed decisions on what type of compressed air equipment is required, how it should be installed as well as maintained, and importantly the requirements for the air purity.

Are you in the food and beverage industry? Chances are you use compressed air in your manufacturing facilities… do you already follow the latest guidelines on the safe use of compressed air?

The report can be found here, but it costs 50 pounds to get it. If you are working with compressed air in the food/beverage industry, I’d say thats 50 pounds well spend 🙂
