Temp Transducer Fault (short or wire break)

Hello,
I have a Quincy QGV 50 Rotary compressor that keeps shutting down with a Temperature Transducer Fault (short or broken wire). I can reset the alarm by the reset. Then it will run for an hour and sometimes it will run for days.
I pulled the transducer from the tank and put a plug in the fitting. And kept the transducer plug in. Same thing happens. I can not find any breaks in the wiring harness. Can we put a jumper on the harness at the transducer connection in place of the transducer with damaging the electric board?
