Please my screw air compressor shuts off due to high temperature. What might be the cause.

  1. Air and oil cooler may be not removing heat as required.
  2. Else the oil injection to screw compressor is insufficient. 
  3. check discharge temperature if it is less than 90 or 100 DegC, there might be problem of solenoid valve.
  4. Check for intake suction pressure and temperature, it should not be above 45degC. If it is clean filter or check suction area from where suction is taking place.

1.oil/ air cooler maybe choked. 2.thermostatic vv malfunctioning. 3.oil level/oil quality. 4.suction filter + inlet filter mat and may be not proper cooling of air end due to heat(exhaust) leakage from the compressor door. 5.check exhaust ducting in proper installation with working well.
