Not getting gas to pump or to carb i put ten $ in six months ago ran just fine after my uncle tuned it up.

Has sat for 6 months did gas evaporate or just go bad I also put 2 gal in and bottle of stabilizer.

Is this not enough gas to re prime fuel line or do i need to disconnect before the pump and drain? If so how or what kind of tool could i use is it ok to just add more fuel and see if it will start.

Check for air in the fuel system. Does this machine have a primer pump? It is usually located on top of the fuel filter.

Maybe there's air in the high pressure lines leading to the injectors. You can open the connection a quarter turn and crank the engine. See if fuel is leaking out of all the high pressure injector lines.

Or, it could be an engine (control) problem. These portable air compressors usually have the following:

  • a 'fuel stop valve' , a solenoid (electric) valve that will shut down the fuel supply (needed for stopping the machine).

If it's gone bad, you get no fuel to the engine.

  • A speed controller. This is usually a pneumatic cylinder connected to the speed lever of the engine.

See if it is working. If the compressor is stopped, it is normally at 'maximum speed'.

Good luck with this one! Let me know if you need any more info!
