G 7 VSD
The Atlas Copco G 7 VSD is a 7.5 kW-class, variable-speed, oil-injected rotary screw compressor in the G VSD family.
Current model Availability checked 17 Sep 2026The G 7 VSD uses variable-speed control to adjust output as demand changes. The G VSD designation identifies its family; similarly numbered machines in other GA or G families can have different air ends, controls and performance.
When comparing sizes, check both the maximum delivered airflow and the lower end of the operating range at your required pressure. If demand often falls below that range, an oversized compressor may spend more time cycling than expected.
The 60 Hz brochure lists 36.6 cfm of free air delivery at 8 bar (printed as 116 psig). This is one reference rating; use the rating for the pressure and package being quoted.
