not enough air pressure

Have a rotary screw air compressor/ gardner-denver spcd 85cfm. Not enough air pressure to blow out sprinklers. When I first got it no air at all, found a mechanic's rag in the oil tube to the oil separator. Took out the rag air flow improved but not enough to blow out sprinklers
