LEROI COMPRESSOR

Hi Cas, I cant seem to find a way to register to get an online account,so maybe you can help me this way. I have a leroi rotary screw compressor,with a jonh deere engine,well recently it stopped working right would only idle.I did find the speed control cable broke inside the intake valve housing,but since then,I noticed the oil level pretty low so i filled with aw46 hydraulic oil.but it just wants to blow it all out thru the intake when it shuts down,I notice in your trouble shooting section,you refer to the inlet valve,are you talking about the intake valve for the air or is there an inlet valve im not finding here.I see a blow down dump valve,a filter element with a check valve for the separator element,is there a check valve some where in the large lines that carry the air to reciever,i see and changed a filter,what stops the oil from burping back at shut down,obviously itwas pretty low on oil,because it took 2 1/2 gals. to top off but it blows it all out,then smokes like its hot and wont run unless bypass is held when it starts heating up.
