Question
I have an older LeRoi 185 sn 3233X16 8/1991 When it starts it acts like it is not unloading the pressure and really pulls the engine down and will kill it when it is cold once it is warm it does not do it. Just for the first five to ten minutes. It acts a little like the engine is starving for fuel but is not??

Hi Bill,

Sorry for the late reply. Did you find the problem?

Is it just happening during startup (difficult to start) - or is it running like that the whole time the first 5 to 10 minutes?
Is the idle speed too low maybe?

If it just that the startup is difficult - it could be the screw element is flooded with oil - in this case the problem is most probably the oil stop valve.

Hope this helps :)
