Kaeser air compressor
Question
Hi . I am facing a problem with kaeser air compressor a31 model. The problem is the compressor is cutting in and cutting off rapidly. The vent line from solenoid valve with get attached to the mouth of the inlet of unloader is leaking and the pressure is dropping suddenly. This line have a shut off valve and is connected from the solinoid valve to the unloader. Due to this air leak , the pressure drops and frequently conpressor is getting cutting in and off. What is the problem ? And how can i rectify it. The solenoid valve is getting activated as there is an led light on the coil connection. And the unloader movement is also ok. Is this leak from this line due to any timer error or faulty solenoid . Plz advice . Waiting for you valuable reply. Sorry for my late reply. Yes photo's would be easier to understand :)
I'm not sure how the control system works exactly on this Kaeser machine, but generally speaking, the vent line that goes to the inlet valve will vent air in two cases: when compressor goes to unload and/or when the compressor shuts down.
It looks like the solenoid is leaking - the control air leaks to the vent line instead of going to the inlet valve, making the valve go open and shut.
