Husky Model WL651001AJ Compressor doesn't restart after initial pressure built u

Question
Hi there, Once Air Compressor is turned on, it builds up the pressure nicely in the tank and cuts off at 125 psi. However, after pressure goes down, Air Compressor does not restart at all! Turing off and on does not work either. I have to unplug the power cord, wait a few minutes and plug it back in, only then it turns on and build pressure again! This cycle goes on...what do you think the problem is? thanks, Jamal

Hello Jamal, It most probably is a problem with your pressure switch. You should normally hear a *click* sound when it switches on and when it switches off. Try to listen and see when exactly the pressure switch switches. It could be a mechanical problem inside the pressure switch. What I have seen one time: the pipe leading to the pressure switch was dirty and clogged. Pressure could get it, but not get out. So just before the pressure switch was a locked chamber of pressure, the pressure switch never switched on, because it 'saw' this high pressure. Good luck. let me know if you need more info. Cas
