High oil consumption on Atlas Copco GX11 compressor

One of the Atlas Copco GX-11 Model Compressor consumes more oil (2 lph) even after changing the Spin-on Separator. What could be the cause. Please advise. Thanks in advance

Hello Rajkumar, Oil carry over to the compressed air system could be, besides a too old oil separator of course, one of the following: - Too high temperature. If the compressor works at maximum temperature (110 degrees or more), the oil will become very thin and you will have more oil carry over - Too high oil level. Fill it up to the level mark, not higher. - Wrong type of oil. Which one did you use? Atlas Copco oil or different oil? Good luck and let me know if this was helful!

Our compressor GX11FF compressor tripped frequently. It generate more heat. It is blink red light on panel board. Please advise.
