Hearing Compressed Air Leaks

Hello Cas- Your site is very informational - thank you for that. I had a question - when you can hear a compressed air leak, how big would you estimate the leak is? A bit tricky to answer, so how about this. If you make the "sssssssss" sound with you mouth at 3 different powers (light, medium and heavy), how big would you estimate a "medium sounding" leak is? 1/16''? 1/8''? I work in a plant and am working on fixing these leaks and I am trying to get a feel for how big my leaks are. This is not at all super accurate, it is just for estimation purposes. Thank you!!
