Question

I have a devilbiss IRL6560V I bought used it seems to be blowing oil up into the head where the intake valves are behind the intake filter there is a hole that may be missing a bolt but I am not sure my questions are

1 do you know if there is supposed to be a bolt in the hole I can not find a good diagram to find out?

2 the head gets very hot very quick but the compressor builds pressure does that mean I have a bad head gasket?

3 does the oil around the intake valves  mean  my rings are bad?

thank you for any help

Hi, Thanks for the question. Here are my answers... 1) I have no idea :) Do you have a picture? 2) Yes, they get hot - but usually they get hotter, and quicker, when the valves are broken. You say it produces pressures, but how much? Typically, with broken valves, they still product some pressure, but only up to a certain point. 3) Yes, probably - or it was waaayyy over-filled. Hope this helps :) Cas
