What is the temperature? It sounds like there is a problem with the screw element. To do some basic checks: stop the compressor. Remove power supply (for safety!!!). Now try to turn the motor/screw element by hand. It is possible? With big compressors it can be hard, but is should be possible and it should run smoothly. If there are any 'high points', then the screw is damaged. You can also remove the inlet valve and inspect the element visually. please check for dents, scratches, etc, etc. Let me know how it works out. And if you need any more info, just ask :) Thanks, Cas
