Atlas Copco XAS36 problem

Hi, This is most probably an electrical problem. Once started and when all the conditions are ok (engine oil pressure ok, engine temperature not too high), the compressor should stay running. When you turn the switch to start the engine, it by-passes all the safety sensors. When you let go, and one of the sensors is not 'ok', than it will shut-down again. Possible problems: 1) No oil pressure (engine oil). 2) Bad sensor (engine oil pressure sensor, engine temperature sensor or compressor temperature sensor) 3) Bad relay. Relay 'K5' should energize (close) and stay energized when releasing the switch. 4) Bad connection somewhere. Check all connections. Good luck with finding the problem.
