Question
Hello - We have a Atlas Copco XAS 90 DD 1995. Runs pretty good and has 3700 hours on it and we just had it services as we just bought it. We are noticing that it will run for an hour so so straight pushing 100 PSI and will kick off. Temp light comes on. Looking for some help around the Indianapolis area with it. We think it could be an oil cooler clogged, oil level to low, oil separator element, or an oil stop valve. Would you have any thoughts on this? Thanks

Hi Danny, Sounds like the compressor is overheating. First thing I would check is the oil cooler.. is it clean (clean enough?). Next, oil level. If the oil level is to low, the compressor will also overheat. It runs for an hour without problems, so it sounds like all other parts are working OK. Good luck and let me know if you need more info Thanks, Cas
