What is the discharge (element outlet) temperature? When the compressor runs too hot, the oil becomes very thin and will be able to pass through the separator. - When was the last time the separator was changed? 0.45 bar is still good value, but if it has been a long time since the last change, it's better to change it. - How is the oil level? If the oil level is too high, you will also get oil carry-over to your compressed air system. - The scavenge line could be blocked or not installed correctly. The scavenge line sucks up all the oil that collects on the bottom of the oil separator. If the scavenge line is blocked, the oil level on the 'dry side' of the separator will rise and will leave the compressor with the compressed air. Best is to open up the separator vessel and check the scavenge line and the condition of the oil separator (or change it, while you're at it).
