Air tank / manifold nipple

My compressor manifold connects to the tank via a push fitting with a locking screw that winds in and locks the manifold fitting into it. The inside of this fitting is rubber seals over the tank nipple. What sort of connection is this as all the others I have seen have a threaded nipple that connects to the manifold
