The SFC 160 belongs to Kaeser’s SFC family. The US product table lists a flow range of 242–1105 cfm at 125 psig. Compare another compressor at the same pressure; the figures at a higher pressure can be quite different.

For a variable-speed machine, look at how normal demand sits within the published flow range, as well as whether peak demand fits below the upper limit. A receiver and suitable system controls still matter when demand changes quickly or other compressors share the load.

Options and variations

Dryer-equipped T versions are listed for some models. Check whether a dryer is included, along with the electrical supply, cooling requirements and specified operating pressure.
