For a large fixed-speed compressor, compare the plant’s sustained demand with delivered airflow at the required pressure. Include backup capacity and the sequencing of other compressors in the operating plan. Cooling utilities, electrical infrastructure and maintenance access need to be checked for the complete package.

The listed suffixes for this size are ie. In current RS nomenclature i/ie identifies fixed speed and n/ne variable speed. Cooling, pressure, electrical supply and TAS availability depend on the version.
