Dear Sir

We have three refrigeration packages of Johnson controls "FRICK" make, its model is SGC3515 "Rorary screw, oil injected with capacity control 20% - 100%". The media of this system is Propylene.

  • The compressor was stopped for more than ONE year due to shaft seal leakage and waiting for spare parts, Normally we kept the compressor as an emergency stand by , from time to time we run the compressor for short time and stop it again.
Last week we faced a power dip and tried to start up the compressor after cleaning the oil strainer of the compressor,During cleaning the strainer we found big quantities of metal parts as per attached pictures.
Can you please send us your suggestions for troubleshooting this problem?
I hope fast response reply from you.
Thank you in advance for your effort and support.
    Best Regards,
    Mostafa Abdelkader
