Husky not giving constant air?

I have a husky H1820F that has very little use. It builds air fine, no leaks I can find. When using I only get a burst of powerfull air, then tapers off. Have to stop and try again, only get small bursts. I am assuming a regulator issue but not sure. Thank you for your time to answer.

What a shame there is this forum yet there are no answers. I have the same problem and not one single question that I have clicked has an answer. Maybe it's just a fluke but if not and the author is doing this to sell more books I hope it is backfiring.p
