have a compressor that the kids yanked all the wiring on , its a chinese one I have had for some time but worked well, There are 3 wires coming out of the stator and all seemed to have continuity, I rewired, replaced the pressure switch and both caps.. When I tried to fire up it would not go , but would throw the fuse, I changed a few things and now it will run for about ten seconds then trip,it has the centrifical switch and it won't pull the points over to fire the run cap, I adjusted the cent. switch and it still does the ten second run bit. The weird thing is I removed the mechanical part of the switch and for a laugh threw the lever on the pressure switch and it started and did the 10 second thing without it!, OK, I'm out of ideas what is buggered up......Help?
