My compressor is a GA200 Atlas Copco compressor.
It has no problem during start up. But the compressor shuts down repeatedly after some minute.
When it reach maximum limit it automatically comes down and reach a minimum limit and start up again.
But it trip before reach maximum limit. An alarm it indicate is starter feedback contact open.

Does it always happen like that? Does it sometimes run longer or shorter?
If I remember it well, the controller (Atlas Copco Elektronicon) will wait for some sort of feedback after giving a start signal.
So, itt sounds like an electrical problem. Probably a bad relay contact or loose wire. Check the auxiliary contacts on the big contactors.

Hi Cas thanks for reply. its every time exactly the same we've disconnected the cables from the motor to the contactors and tested it without load and everything was fine. Its seems to happen only when it takes load. Cheers Johan
