Excessive compressor oil coming from 2nd stage separator.

Good morning from the carribean! Im having excessive compressor oil coming from my 2nd stage separator on my Bauer H25D. I changed the 5th stage piston and sleeve, a suggestion from August industries, but it's still happening. My oil level drops significantly over a period of about 4-6 hours. Gauges are all reading normal. Blowback is giving normal pressure back into #1. Any tips? 503.338.9421

Hi William,

Greetings back!

Really sorry to hear that, and also sorry that I don't have an answer for you.

If you've changed the piston and sleeve... what could it be?

Did you check the running temperatures?
Is pressure and output (flow / capacity) normal?
Did you recently change the oil and use the same oil as always?

I don't have much experience with this type of compressor.

Hope this helps,

Cas
