drying machine using 1" pipe

this machine pressure drop from 7 to 6 bar from main 1" piping .
Main pipe/highway is 6" but GI pipe to machine is 1" and flexible hose also 1" similar to m/c incoming pipe size.

This cause GI 1" pipe air drop to 6 bar and cause the prod. lines after this drop to 6.5 bar (caused some other machine alarm low pressure)

Pls advise increase GI pipe from 1" to 2" will help this situation

Hi Alex,

Based on what I understand from your questions, yes if you increase the pipe to 2", it will lower the pressure drop.

That is, as long as your compressor can keep up with air demand. 6" for the main pipe sounds big enough

If you still experience problems, let me know.

Cas.
