Oil leaks from air filter GX11 FF

I am repairing an Atlas Copco GX11FF screw compressor. Oil is leaking from the air inlet filter when the air compressor shuts off.
The oil leaks after the internal system of the screw element has bled down. The oil rises as a foam through the minimum pressure hole in the inlet valve assy.
I have serviced the unit, replacing the oil filter, oil separator and air filter. I have checked and cleaned the scavenge line check valve assy and the minimum pressure valve appears to be working ok. The check valve for the receiver is also working, with no air from the receiver back feeding into the screw element. Does any one have any ideas to fix this problem?

Hi Roy,

You did the most important checks and service already :) great.

Did you check the inlet valve itself? Many times the inlet valve doesn't close completely because there is dirt the seating area, or it is damaged.

If the inlet valve seat is leaking, there's a chance that oil will flow back out towards the inlet filter.

Good luck and love to know how it goes.
