Atlas Copco XAS90 overheating diesel engine

                        hi the diesel deuz motor on the compressor is running very hot  compressor temp o k@ 90 pressure seems ok constantly changing engine oil & filter always looks black & smells burnt

unit trips out at odd times restarts ok any help would be appreciated thanks Edward

Hi,

Did you clean all the coolers? Especially the cooler of the diesel engine? It's very important to clean it regularly.

Please see the image below!There are different versions of the XAS90. This one is with a Deutz F4L1011 engine.
